Our No Win No Fee arrangements are available for the following types of claims:
If we offer you a No Win No Fee arrangement there will be no upfront fees and we will only charge you for the work that we do if you win compensation.
When you have a No Win No Fee arrangement with us you will not be charged legal fees based on a percentage of your compensation. That is not permitted in Australia. Our charges will be calculated by reference to the amount of work done and the expenses that are incurred bringing the claim.
After we have assessed your claim we will provide you with a Fee Agreement which will detail how we charge, what work will be done and an estimate of the cost of the work and any expenses payable. We will explain our No Win No Fee agreement to you and answer any questions you may have about your claim.
We believe that it is absolutely fundamental to be transparent about the amount that it will cost you for your claim, whether your claim settles early, at mediation or proceeds to hearing. We will tell you what your fees will be and how much you will receive from the defendant towards your costs, if resolved at various stages through the process of pursuing your claim.
We strive to resolve claims at the earliest opportunity to keep your costs down.
Not all cases will qualify for a No Win No Fee arrangement and we will be up front with you and tell you whether your claim qualifies for a No Win No Fee arrangement or whether further investigations are necessary before we can determine whether you are likely to win your claim.
In some cases you may be required to contribute to or pay for reports or investigations that must be carried out to determine whether your claim is likely to succeed, and if that is necessary, we will give you an estimate of the expenses you will need to pay before we incur any expenses. If you do need to pay any expenses we can help you to secure funding.
